Guitar was purchased from Andrew over @ KC Vintage guitars in 2020. (Original receipt will be included with sale to the new buyer) This guitar started life as a Gibson R6 custom shop & was sent to a shop to remake into Neil Young’s famous (old black) LP. I do not know the shop it went to but will say they did an incredible job on the makeover. I own many makeovers from Historic Makeovers to some other places & I put this right there with the best of them. Fun Fact:>>> Gibson under Henrys era actually did create a small run of In-house old black Signature guitars, however they didn’t have Neil’s permission & when he found out it was over as fast as it started. I believe there are a few un aged & a few aged out there but they are pricey If you can find one.- No COA - Weighs 10.8oz (old black is also a heavy ax)- Black Historic Case & case candy
