Description

Coffee House Guitars Limited - Somerset based guitar dealer. Look up my Google reviews and Reverb Feedback... Weight:4.09kg (9lb 0oz) DescriptionWe bought this superb Fender P bass from it’s second owner. An elderly gentleman who had owned it since the early 70s (he said 73-74). He had given up playing completely and wanted to move it on. It came to us with rusty strings and in need of a good clean and full set up. Once we had done all of these it became apparent that this is an incredible instrument. It plays and sounds like the best of the vintage P basses. It just has that incredible tone. This guitar has made a lot of music over the last fifty years. The owner said that the original case had long since perished so it comes presented in an old basic case. Present is the original manual and a warranty registration card from CBS. We don’t recommend filling this in and posting it off! A stunning piece of Fender history in what we believe is the best configuration for a 70s P bass. Three tone sunburst, a tort guard and a rosewood board. Internally the bass appears to be all original. The bass was used regularly for years.  This isn’t one to keep in the case, it’s got more years of making music ahead of it yet!
