Headed by legendary builder "Tom Murphy", these guitars are the pinnacle of GibsonThe Gibson Hummingbird is probably one of the most iconic acoustic guitars ever produced, with its rich tone and versatile nature it's a real players favourite. This Murphy Lab Hummingbird pays homage to the 1960s edition of this legendary instrument. The larger Dreadnought body is beautifully crafted from super resonant Mahogany and boasts a thermally aged Sitka Spruce top. The aged Heritage Cherry finish is super vibrant and really does look the real deal, it perfectly complements what is possibly the most unique pickguard around!A rich Mahogany neck features a Rosewood fingerboard, with a vintage radius and mother of pearl parallelograms, its vibrant and resonant. It is supremely comfortable and provides and excellent playing surface.The Gibson Murphy Lab Hummingbird is full to the brim with vintage vibe and mojo. Complete with period correct case.
