1954 Fender P-Bass-Refinish Sunburst A very nice restored 1954 Fender P-Bass.  Ash body refinished in sunburst with nitro. Some replaced parts.  Guard and thumb rest are repros.  Head stock decal is replaced.  Pots and cap are replaced.  Neck is TG 1954 and serial number is 09XX on the bridge.  The neck plate is an older Fender style, and we are not sure if it is original.  The body date was covered during the refin.  The bass belonged to a customer's father and was restored in the '80s.  The bass had an incorrect repro guard with many screws.  They are filled and under the correct style repro 1954 guard.  The bass came with both original covers.  Frets are in good shape and this guitar plays and sounds great.
