Description

No "Stairway"! Okay, maybe just a little "Stairway" on this 1975 EDS-1275. This behemoth of an instrument remains in amazing condition for its nearly 50 years of age. It was refinished in white at some point in its life, which brings into question the potential of a headstock repair. That being said, the work is quite deceiving and the lacquer has aged and checked. The action on both necks is comfortable and provides easy playability. With all original components, including growling T-Top pickups, this indelible part of rock history is ready for its next "Page".Includes OHSC.

About EDS-1275

The Gibson EDS-1275, often referred to as the 'Double 12', is famously associated with Jimmy Page of Led Zeppelin. This double-necked electric guitar is ideal for playing both 6-string and 12-string parts seamlessly without needing to switch instruments. With its solid mahogany body and tasteful cherry finish, the EDS-1275 is both visually and sonically impressive.
