Description

This is a 2021 Fender Custom Shop 1965 Telecaster Custom Relic. Almost mint as I cannot see any added marks apart from one height adjustment screw; the top of the screw is split. The case, accessories and case candy are unused. The guitar was a custom order. The HW '64 Tele pickups sound wonderful! The guitar comes with its COA, OHSC, all accessories and its shipping box. Plus a nice, brand new HipStrap and a pack of height adjustment crews (but, in my opinion, they are not needed as the guitar is set up nicely right now). This Custom Shop Tele has wonderful tones, a light-weight, resonant body and a classic, beautiful Tele Custom look. The neck is quite "substantial" compared to early '60s C profiles. The maple fretboard, although very rare, is vintage-accurate on a '65 Fender, it is the same with the compound fretboard radius. The guitar has a good general setup, it plays well as it is, it is ready to rock.It is a very special Custom Shop Tele. In specs it is also close to one of Eddie Vedder's Teles (but obviously not that one).Specs:Weight: 7lbs 10ozModel Name 1965 Telecaster Custom RelicSeries Time MachineBody AlderBody Finish LacquerNeck Material MapleNeck Finish Dark Tinted Nitrocellulose LacquerNeck Shape 10/56 "V" neck profileScale Length 25.5" (648 mm)Fingerboard MapleFingerboard Radius 7.25" to 9.5" Compound Radius (184 mm to 241 mm)Number of Frets 21Frets Size Medium VintageString Nut BoneNut Width 1.650" (42 mm)Bridge Pickup Custom Shop Hand-Wound '64 Single-Coil TeleNeck Pickup Custom Shop Hand-Wound '64 Single-Coil TeleControls Master Volume, Master TonePickguard 3-Ply Parchment.ANY QUESTION, PLEASE ASK BEFORE YOUR PURCHASE.POSTAGE IS WITH PARCELFORCE AM (BY MIDDAY NEXT WORKING DAY) DELIVERY. About Telecaster

The Fender Telecaster, known affectionately as the "Tele," emerged as the first mass-produced solid-body electric guitar, marking a significant milestone in music history. Its straightforward design and innovative sound paved the way for new trends in electric guitar manufacturing and popular music. Since its debut in the 1950s, the Telecaster has been celebrated for its versatility, serving artists across genres from country to jazz, rock, and beyond. Its solid construction, characterized by a single-cutaway body made typically from alder or ash and a bolt-on maple neck, contributes to its distinct, bright, and cutting tone as well as a warm, mellow sound depending on pickup selection. With minor modifications over the years, the Telecaster has remained largely faithful to its original design, featuring two single-coil pickups, a three-way selector switch, and simple volume and tone controls. This enduring design has kept the Telecaster relevant and in continuous production, solidifying its status as a beloved icon in the guitar world.
