Furch D33-SR
Superb folk guitar, model D33-SR from the "vintage" series, manufactured by the Furch workshops in 2011 in the Czech Republic.Frantisek Furch, a renowned luthier, decided to found the brand "Furch" which today ranks among the biggest brands of acoustic guitars. If you don't know it, I invite you to visit the workshops' website:Here we have a D33-SR model, which at the time was in the top of the range of the "vintage" series. Indeed, this series then offered models that clearly took up specificities borrowed from some famous American guitars, the Martin :)The D33-SR is therefore a guitar that is nobly inspired by a pre-war D-28. It takes up the dreadnought format, similar lutherie essences, finishes with Herringbone purfling, abalone fingerboard markers, Waverly type tuners, the diamond sculpted behind the head… A very nice success! When this model came out at the time, it was a success, and we find very few second-hand ones. It is no longer produced today and the "vintage" range, although still manufactured, has been completely revised.Let's go back to the lutherie of the beauty, with the legendary couple Sitka spruce for the table and rosewood for the back and sides, the tones are therefore fleshy, precise, rich… The beauty is now well opened with its 13 years of playing! For the rest a mahogany neck, ebony fingerboard and bridge, rosette with herringbone marquetry… Add a very fine varnish of the "Hand rubbed" type highlighting the lutherie and letting the lutherie breathe well. And finally a light and efficient Fishman system with tone and volume controls on the soundhole, allowing you to plug in the beauty. In short, a very beautiful guitar, well made, and which sounds that I strongly advise you to come and try on site to judge for yourself (by appointment).
A video of a similar model found on the net is after the photos and will give you an overview of the very beautiful qualities of this guitar.

Sounds and comfort:This guitar gives off a powerful, fleshy, rich, balanced sound...It will be equally at home in plated chords but also when playing with your fingers! I advise you to come and try it on site to form your own opinion. The string height is comfortably set at 2.3 mm at low E and 1.8 mm at high E at the 12th fret. The neck profile is a C/D type that is pleasant to hold.
Please note that the guitar is therefore not new. Already 13 years old! It therefore has some play marks. We will therefore note some play marks on the table: small dents, scratches, traces of play... Marks in the varnish on the back of the neck. The pickguard has been replaced by a model closer to what the Martin Pre War offered. However, it is in good condition, completely healthy, adjusted and ready to play.
In short, a beautiful dreadnought with an "American vintage" spirit, made in Europe and which sounds!
