Vintage original 1970 Gibson J-50 in original natural finish. Guitar was purchased from Carters Vintage previously and it's playing great. The J-45 gets all the love from vintage guitar enthusiasts, but its close cousin the J-50, is a well-kept secret among vintage collectors, sharing a lot of the J-45's beloved specs.  1970 was one of the few years of the square shoulder for the J-50, with tone comparable to a fuller-bodied dreadnought. It's perfect for flatpickers wanting to cut through with a punchy and powerful midrange tone.  Has a set of Kluson re-issue tuners which keep it well in tune. Tone is just out of this world.   A wonderful recording guitar.
