1967 Gibson ES-355 TDSV in Cherry Red - original finish semi-hollow body Rare ‘67 Gibson ES-355 TDSV CherryThe top of the line Gibson Semi Hollow bodies! The Gibson ES-355 TDSV features deluxe appointments of stereo wiring, varitone switch, gold hardware, bound ebony fingerboard, pearl block inlays, bound fingerboard and Gibson Lyre Vibrola. The pickups have been swapped for an unknown set of PAF Replica's stamped 1 & 2 that sound pretty fantastic. The tuners look to be original Grover gold machine heads. The guitar is currently wired for Mono, not sure if this was a factory mono, likely this is was modded later, as there looks to be a filled hole from a previous master volume pot addition, just under the original pick guard. This was very well repaired and is difficult to see with it just under the guard. The bridge studs may have been reset here. The Custom Made plate looks to be a newer repro type and this may have had a stop tail modification at some point, with the original Lyre re-installed. There is a scatchy neck volume pot that we are working to correct, should be fine. Plays very well and is in overall very good condition. Some small divots on the back of the neck as pictured. Plays exceedingly well.Measurements: 9.0 lbs total weight. The neck measures 1.59"/ 40-41mm wide at the nutMade in USA serial 8921** . Comes with later Gibson blue lined case. Vintage 6 Strings
