Here's a 1975 Martin D-41 Shade Top. Ultra RARE Sunburst example!! Every now and then (but not often) a D-18, D-28, or a D-35 Shade Top will pop up for sale....but a D-41!?! This beauty is seriously cool. Everything on the guitar is original. No breaks, cracks, repairs. Serial #359824. Besides some checking and a few very small dings, the guitar is in beautiful condition. Spruce top, gorgeous Indian Rosewood back & sides, Grover tuners, bound fingerboard and body, with stunning abalone inlay around the soundhole and top of the body. And all the abalone is in perfect shape. The neck has full felling profile, and plays great! Tonally the guitar is powerful and balanced, with good string separation. Sounds amazing!
