Description

If the expression “guitar porn” applies to a guitar, then it really applies to this Tele from masterbuilder Dale Wilson with a “Metallic Purple” finish and subtle Closet Classic relicing. This finish in combination with the numerous hairline cracks is simply awesome! In addition, there is a beautiful neck made of AAA birdseye maple and the previous owner upgraded the pickguard to an “egg” color, creating a sensational look. And the pleasant “Large C” neck profile (.850-.975") also gives you a good grip. However, the special thing about this Tele is that the previous owner made an extremely harmonious pickup change by having “Nocaster 51” pickups professionally installed. Resonant without end the guitar is simply a blast when amplified! A perfectly bony 50s Tele experience, whereby the guitar always remains wonderfully balanced, round and pleasant despite all the twang. The look and sound of this Telecaster just scream for a stage! So it's certainly not surprising that it has been played a lot in recent years, as evidenced by minimal play marks on the first few frets and two small dings on the upper side and neck pocket. Otherwise it is in top condition.incl. original case, certificateweight: 3010 gramssubject to differential taxation

About Telecaster

The Fender Telecaster, known affectionately as the "Tele," emerged as the first mass-produced solid-body electric guitar, marking a significant milestone in music history. Its straightforward design and innovative sound paved the way for new trends in electric guitar manufacturing and popular music. Since its debut in the 1950s, the Telecaster has been celebrated for its versatility, serving artists across genres from country to jazz, rock, and beyond. Its solid construction, characterized by a single-cutaway body made typically from alder or ash and a bolt-on maple neck, contributes to its distinct, bright, and cutting tone as well as a warm, mellow sound depending on pickup selection. With minor modifications over the years, the Telecaster has remained largely faithful to its original design, featuring two single-coil pickups, a three-way selector switch, and simple volume and tone controls. This enduring design has kept the Telecaster relevant and in continuous production, solidifying its status as a beloved icon in the guitar world.
