The Acoustic Custom Shop has recreated the King of the Flat-Tops. One of Gibson’s most storied models, this Historic Reissue instrument is hand-built in Gibson's celebrated Bozeman facility using the finest materials and styled after its late 1930s counterparts. Each is constructed with a select Thermally Aged Adirondack red spruce top with hot hide glue bracing, rosewood back and sides, and premium ebony for the fingerboard and bridge. No detail is left untouched: the bound fingerboard, vintage style script Gibson inlay, and unique pickguard add custom touches all over this authentic recreation.Other specifications include:Body Shape SJ-200Top Thermally Aged Red spruceBack RosewoodSide RosewoodBracing Traditional Hand Scalloped X-bracing, with hide glueBinding Multi-ply top, multi-ply backFinish Thin Finish Nitrocellulose, VOSNeck Material 2-piece mapleProfile DScale Length 25.5" / 647.7mmFingerboard Material EbonyFingerboard Radius 12"Number Of Frets 20Frets StandardNut Material BoneNut Width 1.72" / 43.81mmInlays Mother-of-pearl Graduated CrownsJoint Compound Dovetail Neck-to-bodyHardware Tuner Plating GoldBridge SJ-200 Four Bar MoustacheSaddle Material BoneTuning Machines Grover ImperialsPickguard SJ-200, multi-colored dots, double borderTruss Rod Cover Black with Wide WhiteBridge Pins BoneElectronics Under Saddle Pickup NoneStrings Gauge 0.053, 0.042, 0.032, 0.024, 0.016, 0.012Case Period Correct CaseAccessories Includes Gibson Accessory KitCSJB20PWVS5 lbs 3 oz#21544017For more information on this Gibson acoustic, please contact us.
