Here is a Gibson Les Paul Junior from 1955. Plays and sounds exceptional. Nice resonance. Refinished and heavily sanded in the 70's. It weights 7ibs 2ozs. IRC pots are dated 514 and 518. Fralin P-90. Routed slightly deeper to fit a humbucker, but the original Gibson key shape route is still visible. Pickguard is a replacement. Has a 1960's tailpiece. 1970s brass nut, the neck has more of a late 60s profile. The body thickness is 1 5/8th". The neck width at the nut is 1 9/16th". The 12th fret width is 1 15/16th". The frets are newer and smooth, really well done. The headstock also refinished with a new logos. The truss works well. New input jack. Grovers at one time. If you don't care for the thick necks of the 50s, then this guitar is for you. Comes with an early 1970's purple lined Gibson Les Paul case that is good shape.
