Wildwoodians, we have a special treat for you today, and we'll tell you one thing: it's definitely NOT on the right-hand side of the dial! That's right--we have a Murphy Lab Wildwood Spec '58 Les Paul painted by Tom Murphy himself on Left of the Dial. Tom Murphy has forgotten more about Gibson guitars than most of us will ever know, and the exquisite Dark Burst on this serial is a marvelous example of his master craftsmanship. The only cosmetic flaw on this steed to report is some subtle aniline dye bleed into the binding. Which, we might say, is a total vibe. Other than that, it has no other cosmetic flaws, and it shows zero fret wear, so it's ready to rock and/or roll. It comes with its original hardshell case and all its case candy, too. This is a great chance to snag a Murphy-Painted masterpiece at an awesome value!

Most importantly, it's a fantastic track by The Replacements, the greatest band of all time! Here, we use the phrase to refer to items that don't fit the traditional mold of what we showcase on our website: used items, oddities, guitars from deep in the Wildwood vault, and some plain good 'ol fashioned deals. Think of Left of the Dial as a place where you can find punk rock items in a rock and roll retail world. We do it for fun and to give our amazing customers another chance to snag some sweet gear at a fraction of the full price. Keep us posted if you have any further questions, or if you're on the lookout for anything in particular.***
