We love it when a guitar with a great story walks through the door unannounced. This gem of a '40 D-18 belonged to Willis Meyers' and came to us from his daughter Betty. Betty brought the guitar in along with some incredible photographs and she was even kind enough to get behind the camera to share a few stories about her dad and his illustrious career performing with this guitar. Although it has seen heavy repair and modifications this dreadnought sings with a sweet and rich sound. Not only does it sound fantastic, it plays beautifully with even response up and down the neck which sports a super comfortable vintage V contour.
