Playing this Wildwood Spec '59 Les Paul first thing in the morning was better than a cup of coffee as I am now soaked in rock and roll adrenaline and ready to attack the day and/or break things after playing such a magnificent specimen. It's a marvelous example of the "Tele-on-steroids" archetype of Les Paul. It's super muscular but very articulate, and it has uncommon touch-sensitivity and dynamic range. Even with lots of gain heaped upon it, it maintains excellent note separation, allowing complex chords to ring out clearly. Chordal rhythm parts punch through beautifully, and single-note lines have plenty of weight. What I like best about this guitar is how dynamic it is--it makes for an incredibly expressive playing experience that inspires creativity. It'll no doubt inspire you t embark on all sorts of exciting fretboard adventures!Model: Wildwood Spec 1959 Les Paul StandardFinish Color: Kindred BurstFinish Type: GlossWeight: 8.44 lbs.Top Wood: Hand-Selected Maple Body Wood: Mahogany with No Weight ReliefNeck Wood: MahoganyNeck Shape: Authentic '59 Medium C-ShapeNeck Dimensions: .930 1st - 1.030 12thFingerboard: Hand-Selected Indian Rosewood Hide Glue FitFingerboard Radius: 12"Inlays: Celluloid TrapezoidsScale Length: 24.75"Width at Nut: 1.695"Frets: 22Pickups: Wildwood Spec CustombuckersControls: CTS 500K Audio Taper Potentiometers, Paper-in-Oil CapacitorsHardware: NickelBridge: No-Wire ABR-1Plastics: Aged Vintage-StyleTailpiece: Lightweight Aluminum Stop BarTuners: Kluson Single Line, Single RingCase: Brown/Pink Lifton Reissue 5-LatchCOA: Yes
