2002 MTD 434-24: Michael Tobias Designs #845 made in USA. This was a custom order with a Spalted Maple "10" top with a matching headstock and an Ash body. It has a 24 fret Wenge fingerboard on a Wenge neck. It was special ordered with Buzz Feitin tuning. It is a 34 inch scale. It has Bartolini pickups tied to an active system that requires 2 9-volt batteries. Controls are Master Volume, Pan pot, Treble, Middle, Bass Cut/Boost and a three position switch for different tonal options(the instruction sheet is included). The nut width is 1 35/64" and the bass weighs a very light 7lbs., 6oz. There is no fret wear and you will need and up close inspection to find any tiny nick in the finish. You will want to install new strings. This bass ships in the original hard sided gig case.Please see all photos to complete the description.Guitars can experience changes due to temperature and humidity differences during shipping that may require minor adjustments.
