Description

This 1967 Fender Jazz Bass in Sunburst finish is a truly special, all-original, one-owner instrument with a unique history. It was purchased new from the iconic "Parys Flore" music shop in Brussels and belonged to none other than Philippe De Pauw, better known as "Clown Caboche", a beloved figure in Belgian entertainment. This vintage bass retains all of its original components, from the pickups and hardware to the untouched soldering, making it a rare, unaltered gem. Its classic three-tone Sunburst finish, combined with the rare “lollipop” tuners, captures the authentic style of Fender’s mid-60s craftsmanship. The bass is in very good condition, showing only minor wear over time. The only modifications are a replaced nut and a more recent hardcase for better protection. Even the original strings remain on the bass, preserving its unmistakable vintage tone.
