Sonic Evaluation What a marvelous Martin this serial is! It exhibits all of the qualities we love from a great D-28: rich resonance, a piano-like attackm exceptional projecting power, rib-rattling bass, and sweet sparkling trebles. Though it's definitely a wooden cannon (strumming hard feels like the acoustic equivalent of plugging into a Marshall stack!), it also has a remarkable capacity for subtlety and nuance. It's unbelievably responsive, and it has tremendous touch sensitivity. Even at lower volumes, it still speaks with a rich voice.
