This 1951 Epiphone Zephyr Regent is an incredibly well-built New York-made archtop in original condition other than a replaced pickguard! Cosmetically very good for its age with checking, play wear/dings. It sounds fabulous and the tone has a clear and defined quality that is the perfect blend of focused and rich with an articulate and clear tone from the single pickup which represents the breathiness of the wood effortlessly. It also plays great with plenty of fret life left and the neck feels great with a strong sonic connection to the body for a lovely, dry note response throughout. This is a steal for a professional-level vintage archtop! Includes original hardshell case.
