To see and hear this bass being played - scroll to the end of the pictures for a video.1959 Gibson EB2, Sunburst finish in good condition. Supplied in a later Gibson hard case and the baritone button has been replaced with a switch. Otherwise, the bass is all original. The body finish has lacquer checking and a few small nicks as well as a larger area of wear on the edge of the lower bout. The back of the neck has several dings and thick lacquer checks. The headstock finish has flaked around the edges and also has a few scuffs and dings.  The frets are in great shape with plenty of life in them. The neck is straight and has no issues. Everything remains structurally sound. This bass has been fully set up in our workshop with a fresh set of Rotosound flat-wound strings. All round excellent bass. Serial number: A32048. Weight: 8lbs 14.5oz/ 4.03 kg. Nut width: 43.3 mm. Depth at 1st fret: 22.7 mm.
