Description

Introducing this wildly clean 1965 Fender Jaguar in original sunburst! We bought this from original owner James out of California. He bought it in 1965/1966 with his mom who helped pay and sign for it. He lovingly played it in multiple bands throughout high school and college and even had a song air on local radio stations. After all these years, It's nearly as clean as the day it left the factory and even has the original CBS hangtag.Measurements: 8.3 lbs (3.75 kg) total weight. The neck measures 1.63" wide at the nut, 0.83" deep at the first fret, and 0.98" deep at the 12th fret. The neck pickup reads 6.10k ohms and the bridge pickup reads 7.00k ohms.  Originality: This Jaguar is all original other than new foam under the pickups and on the bridge mute. Playability: Excellent. The neck is dead straight, truss rod functions as intended, frets have very little wear, and the electronics are clean and operate as intended.Condition: Exceptional with light nicks, dings, and scratches. Included: The original case, hang tag, bridge cover, and tremolo arm are included. Fine Print: All guitars ship via FedEx Priority Overnight for domestic sales or FedEx Priority International. I offer a 48 hour approval period beginning on delivery for all sales during which you are welcome to opt for a return as long as the guitar is still in as-sent condition. I do not charge a restocking fee, but any non-refunded payment processing fees, outbound shipping, and return shipping costs are subtracted from the refund in the case of a return.

About Jaguar

The Fender Jaguar is an iconic electric guitar first introduced in 1962. Known for its distinctive offset body shape and short scale length of 24 inches, this guitar originally found favor with surf musicians but later gained popularity among alternative rock and indie musicians. Its characteristic tone and versatile switching system, including multiple tone and pickup selectors, have made it a popular choice for players seeking a wide range of sounds. Typically featuring a rosewood fretboard, maple neck, and alder body, the Jaguar is available in classic finishes like Sunburst, Olympic White, and Candy Apple Red.
