Here's a late 1930s era Gibson Black Special #4. 100% original example These don't pop up often! With the exception of a professionally repaired crack on the back, the rest of the guitar is break/crack/repair free. The Special #4 is essentially a 16" L-50, with a carved spruce top, flat back maple back and sides, with a mahogany neck, and rosewood fingerboard. The neck has a V profile, and plays exceptionally well. The action is low from top to bottom. Tonally it sounds full and warm like an acoustic, but also loud and clear like the archtop that it is. The original pickguard is in great shape too! Super cool one here. HSC..
