This is a Historic Select (HS), Pre-sold Limited (PSL) Gibson 70s Flying V that was made by the Custom Shop in 2018. Historic Select means that the body, neck, fretboard, and other components were hand selected to match perfectly together. Pre-sold Limited means that it was part of a very limited batch of guitars, where in this case, they were different Gibson models all sharing the same Blue Mist Satin finish. Its factory specs resemble more what the Gibson Mod Shop would be doing these days. Important specs for this 70s Flying V are Block Inlays, Custombuckers, a true ABR-1 bridge, Schaller M6 tuners, a Volute and a one-of-a-kind Blue Mist Satin finish that you don't see everyday, even on Reverb! This Flying V is in excellent condition and comes with its original hardshell case, certificate of authenticity and case key.Other than the hardware, pickguard, knobs and fretboard, everything else is pretty much blue or has some tint of blue. Even the Gibson logo on the truss rod cover and part of the neck binding are blue.Note: The guitar left the Custom Shop with some overspray on the back of the headstock when the fade transition was made from a lighter to darker blue.Specs:
