Description

Zakk Wylde, world-famous guitarist who will forever be associated with legendary names such as “Ozzy Osbourne”, “Pantera” and “Black Label Society”. Just as well-known as this exceptional musician is the characteristic Bullseye design that has adorned the finish of his guitars for many years. It is therefore not at all surprising that the Gibson Custom Shop has repeatedly dedicated his own signature guitars to him. This Les Paul Custom Bullseye Camo, which was produced as a limited edition from 2003 to 2016, is no exception. What a beast, what a monster tone! Mahogany body, maple neck and active EMG pickups (bridge: EMG 81, neck: EMG 85) are a truly “nasty” combination! Endless, powerful sustain, with an extremely aggressive, cutting and powerful sound at the bridge and a slightly warmer, softer and bassier sound at the neck. You probably won't find a (Hard)Rock sound like this a second time: smacky, roasty, but also transparent with perfect string separation. Pure Zakk Wylde! The unique look of the finish is harmoniously rounded off by the gold hardware, a black stinger on the back of the neck and attractive mother-of-pearl block inlays in the maple fingerboard, which is so rare for Les Pauls. ...and this extraordinary gem is also extremely comfortable to play thanks to the “Zakk Wylde Custom” neck profile, which is very similar to the popular Medium '59. In view of the fact that this particular Custom is now 21 years old the inevitable slight signs of use and wear are certainly evident. The guitar stand has also left slight marks on both sides and its plastic padding has slightly affected the varnish in these areas (see pictures 23 and 24). However, otherwise we can offer you the guitar including the frets in top condition.incl. original case, certificate, hangtagsweight: 4380 gramssubject to differential taxation
