Up for sale is this incredible looking Gibson Les Paul Standard Plus from 2014. It's an absolute masterpiece with an AAAA figured maple top, built at Gibson’s Nashville plant. It's one of the nicest examples these scarce 120th anniversary Root Beer tops that we’ve come across. Many of the best seem to have been sent to Japan, which is where this one was secured. It has a comfortable profile neck with a thin 60's profile carve with locking tuners and is a great weight at 4.1kg. I've tried to catch the top on it as best I can but it really is amazing and is what initially drew us to this guitar. It's in nice condition throughout with no big paint chips etc. Just light playwear with nothing big or obvious showing. No pickguard was ever fitted so no pickguard holes. The neck is dead straight, truss rod fine, and I can see no visible fret wear. It comes complete with the original fitted tan hardcase and all case candy.
