Here is very early 1991 Ltd Edition Custom Shop Gibson Les Paul Alpine White Custom. It has rare Super 400 MOP fret inlays, a real Ebony fingerboard and all gold hardware. It's one of only 200 built for this special 1991 run of Customs and was a Yamano order. Hand-selected by reps of Yamano to expert to Japan . The alpine white finish is starting to yellow and all the gold hardware is nicely tarnished. It’s well down the road to being a great vintage looker. It’s a maple-capped custom, not solid mahogany, and of course it has an ebony fingerboard (not Richlite). It's never had a refret so it still has its nibs! In true custom fashion it’s not the lightest at 4.5kg, but we’ve had much heavier.  It has a nice comfortable 1959 profile neck cave and is voiced by its original 490r/498t Gibson humbuckers. Truss rod has been checked and is fine, neck dead straight and plenty of life left in the frets. It is structurally and electrically sound. There is some age related nitro finish checking with a couple of lines in the neck/headstock region (pics), but is just checking in the paint.  It has never had any breaks or repairs. As mentioned above, the alpine white nitro finish has yellowed with age leading to a few darker patches as you always get with old alpine whites. Comes with original tan pink-lined Gibson HSC and original Japanese Yamano booklet. Case a bit roadworn around the edges but all latches & combo-lock working perfectly.
