It's a superb bass to play with a fantastic tone and a good weight. (8 lbs 11.5 oz) No thumb-rest or metal covers and the pickup has been rewound. The bass is otherwise original. Supplied in a brand new hard case. It comes with a 3-month warranty and a 14-day approval period. The body finish has a few scuffs and dings, mainly around the edges as well as a small patch of buckle rash on the back but overall it's pretty clean. The finish on the back of the neck is relatively free from wear. The headstock has only light wear with just a couple of small scuffs around the top edge and a ding along the bottom edge. The frets are in excellent condition and have plenty of life left in them. It's been fully set up in our workshop with a fresh set of D'Addario Chrome flat-wound strings. The truss works correctly and the neck is straight with great action. Serial:238620. The neck stamp reads June 69 B. The pots date to the 42nd week of 1966 which is common during this period. Also common for the period was the use of leftover black bobbins for the pickups. Nut width: 41mm. Depth at 1st fret: 21.8 mm. Weight: 8lbs 11.5oz / 3.95 kg. Pickup DC resistance 10.25K.
