For sale is a brand new version of my Kalos model the "Kalos SB". Traditionally the Kalos is built with a set-in arched top and arched back with full hollow parallel braced construction. This new version brings full hollow construction with a lower price point taking some cues from both the Kalos Simple and the Standard Kalos. The Kalos SB body is milled and hollowed out from a solid block of wood. Then the same set-in parallel braced carved top from the standard Kalos is utilized. This results in an instrument with a very similar feel. The top of this guitar is made from 100 year old figured redwood. It's incredibly resonant and lively both clean and dirty. Notes and chords bloom with overtones. The electronics are very straightforward, with a pair of my DGN Tru-PAF's and a Blaster circuit for added versatility. The mini toggles control coil taps for both humbuckers and blaster on/off.
