Simply wonderful 100% original Gibson Custom Classic in White with hard case and case candy from 2011. One owner from new, smoke-free use only.The Slim D profile neck feels superb—not too big, not too thin. The frets are close to perfect with some slight crowning, but they are in great shape. The guitar has just had a full level check and polish. It feels superb and effortless to play. The headstock has some finish checking on the rear and some top-layer scratches on the front, as expected. There is some play wear at the 2nd and 3rd fret areas on the underside, and some on the 5th. It can't really be felt, to be honest, and overall, the neck is in clean condition. The guitar is free of all cracks and repairs. This model has a baked maple fretboard that is nice and dark and well-conditioned. It looks fantastic and sounds really chimey and articulate. The truss rod is perfect and nice and tight as well.The mahogany body is the classic construction and weighs a perfect 9.8 lbs, like a real Les Paul should. The guitar has checking throughout, as they do, some top-layer scratches, and a few little indents here and there, but it’s in very clean condition. It has aged wonderfully and has a stellar off-white finish. All components are original, with no changes or alterations made. We would rate the axe a 9.5/10 for condition, and it has been well looked after all these years. A nice touch on the classics is having only the top cap and the rear, as you would find on a standard. All of the above really combine to make a different sounding Les Paul, for the better.It comes with the original, repair and damage-free, white-lined Gibson case and documents to top it off.This guitar has been set up beautifully and plays like hot butter. Super low and loose, and it’s a shredder for sure. It rings like a bell acoustically and sounds mind-blowing, both clean and distorted. Just a unique and awesome Les Paul Custom.
