I just finished building this guitar and it turned out beautifully. The back and sides are Amazon Rosewood and the top Adirondack Spruce. This combination is stellar and the sound of the guitar is everything you would want in a 12 string: balanced across the strings, big, bright, but not harsh, warm and present. One of my guitar buddies played it and commented how beautifully resonant and clear this guitar is.A notable feature of this instrument is the bridge I always hated 12 string bridges with their mini forest of pins crowding a small area so I made a hybrid bridge of the six main strings standard pins, the octave strings pinless.
