This is a 2017 Gibson Custom Les Paul Special Made 2 Measure VOS in Dark Cherry finish. All original, no issues, a resonant body and hyper versatile tones thanks to the hybrid pickup specs. Plus it comes with a Lifton Historic "Gator Skin" Hardshell Case. The guitar does have some small marks here and there. There are swirl marks in the finish and some bigger ones around the headstock as shown in one of the photos but apart from these, there is nothing else to mention. I would say it is in excellent to very good condition. It weights in at 7.10.6 lbs. The neck profile is 60 Slim Taper officially, but to me this feels like the perfect '59 or early '60 profile, not very skinny at all.The P-90 has plenty of bite, it sounds excellent both clean and overdriven, the Firebird pickup has lots of clarity, so the two pickups make a very nice tonal combo. Due to the specs, this guitar has a kind of 'the Les Paul Special version of Lennon's Junior, Neil Young's Old Black or Robby Krieger's LA Woman' vibe to it. Obviously it is not the same as any of those Custom Shop reissues above, but sonically it is in the same ballpark. It comes with all case candy, COA and its shipping box.
