Description

This is a vintage 1957 Gibson J-45 dreadnought acoustic. It's safe to say this is one of the most recorded guitars in history with a sound that is instantly recognizable once you've heard it. This J-45 has sloped shoulders and a fixed bridge. It is in great shape with some dings and scuffs here and there and cool lacquer checking in the right light. It feels awesome with its comfortable, medium chunky neck profile and wide 1 11/16" nut. It's action is super comfortable where it is, with room to come down some, but its saddle is fairly low. Action at the 12th fret is currently 3mm bass side, 2mm treble. The top-front of its bridge was also brought down a bit at some point as well. Its tuners are original, but its buttons have been replaced, and it had a couple top cracks sealed on either side of its sound-hole, treble side. It sounds massive, bold, super resonant, and is an absolute joy to play. It has been professionally set up and comes with a original chipboard case (which is missing its inside badge). Please feel free to ask any questions or call us for an in-hand description!
