Description

Here's a 1951 Gibson CF-100 in Sunburst finish. Amazing original example, from the 2nd year of production. These were only made from 1950-1959. The guitar is very clean, with no breaks or cracks. The guitar also comes to us from a one owner family, who took great care of it through the years. It features a solid spruce top, “X” Bracing, florentine cutaway, Brazilian fingerboard with trapezoid inlays, and a tortoise guard. The guitar has an exceptionally beautiful and figured Brazilian Rosewood bridge! Never seen another one that comes close to looking like this. Stunning! The nut measures 1 11/16" with a comfortable medium profile. It plays great! Tonally the guitar has wonderful, full projection. It's very clear and balanced as well.
