Here's a 1976 Fender P-Bass in original Black finish. Very cool 4 bolt neck, rosewood fingerboard example. Everything on the bass is original. The pot date codes are 1377607, with the serial number under the pickguard being 7647381. All electronics and solder joints are original. Neck and pickups also date to 1976. Where the serial number would've been on the headstock, was scratched off long ago. There are also two filled holes on the top of the body that you can see, along with small extra holes on the guard from a thumb rest. The rest of the bass is repair free. And as for playability and tone....incredible! Acoustically loud and resonant. The neck plays smooth as silk, with easy playing action. Truss rod works perfect. Frets have good life.
