This guitar has a German Silver body, not brass and may have been one of the last Ns with flat F-holes. The cone is from 1932 or 33 but it is not the original cone. Marc Shoenberger replaced a National Reso-Phonic cone this guitar came with a vintage one when he set the guitar up for me. The guitar is in great shape with a much slimmer neck than normally found on vintage Nationals. Very airy sound with incredible sustain. Set up for finger style but works perfectly with slide. No cracks or neck repairs. Fret board and frets are original as far as I can tell and still in very good condition. At some point, a past owner I assume, carved his or her initials in the fretboard which was a fairly common practice back in the day. There are a couple small digs and one or two small spots with some surface scratches on the body.I am happy to answer any addition questions or provide more pictures upon request.
