This is Martin's "OO-18V 2012". The "OO-18 (Double O)" is a small Grand Concert style model that debuted in 1898, and has a much longer history than the D-28 and D-18 born in the 1930s. The OO-18V is a pre-war style model in the Vintage Series lineup. It has a small gourd-shaped body and a V-shaped neck with a 14-fret joint. Long saddle. It features scalloped bracing with low bracing height inside the body.The top is solid spruce. The sides and back are solid mahogany. The neck is V-shaped hardwood. The fingerboard and bridge are ebony. The pickguard is tortoiseshell patterned. Long saddle bridge.The all-solid construction fully demonstrates the sound that is unique to Martin. The small OO's ease of use makes it perfect for fingerstyle playing.On the outside, there are repair marks from shrinkage of the binding on the side of the body. There are some inconspicuous dents, but overall it is in very good condition. The condition is perfect, including the neck and frets, and it has been set up.The nut width is 44.5mm. The string gauge is .011-.052, and the string height when tuned to regular is 2.5mm on the 6th string side and about 2.0mm on the 1st string side. We ship using EMS or DHL from Japan.
