Description

If you could only have one electric guitar, a '55 ES-175D wouldn't be the worst choice. The dogear P-90 pickups paired with the hollow body works perfectly for everything from rockabilly to jazz. It is set up with flatwounds and low action for that classic 1950's tone. It's amazing how little guitar designs have changed since then, Gibson got it right early on! It is all factory original save for the Bigsby which was made a year later in 1956 and has been with the guitar for a very long time. The original frets have some wear but still plays perfectly up the neck without any buzzing. Neck angle is excellent. Someone clearly loved and cared for the guitar based on how most of the finish is worn off the neck but how clean the top and back are. The condition is excellent overall and even comes with the sought after pink lined lined Lifton case.  OverviewYear: 1955Brand: GibsonModel: ES-175DSerial Number: A221888Condition: ExcellentOriginality: Bigsby from 1956 added later.
