Offered for purchase is this amazing 2024 Gibson Custom Shop Murphy Lab Heavy Aged '59 Les Paul with Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard, serial number 94235. If you are looking for a Les Paul that is as authentic as possible, you cannot do much better than this incredible instrument.Gibson built just 300 of these very special aged '59 LP's with Brazilian rosewood fretboards between the end of 2023 and early 2024. Of these, just 50 in the color of this guitar, Tom's Cherry. Specs include: hand selected, two piece flame maple top; one piece light weight mahogany back; single ply Royalite binding; hide glue construction, long tenon neck joint, Murphy Lab custom aging; Tom's Cherry nitrocellulous finish; solid mahogany neck with 50's rounded medium C shape (.89"-.99"); bound 12" radius Brazilian rosewood fingerboard; aged cellulose nitrate trapezoid inlays; medium jumbo frets; 24.75" scale length; 1-11/16" nut width; unpotted Gibson Custombucker zebra coil Alnico 5 magnet humbucking pickups; Historic Reissue ABR-1 tune-o-matic bridge and tailpiece; and a total weight of just 8.375 pounds (8 pounds, 6 ounces). This guitar is simply amazing. The tone is that of a vintage LP on steroids. No pedals needed here, just add gain! It's voice is fat and woody even at low volumes, but add gain and it can become an unleashed crunch monster.
