This Gibson Byrdland was made in the USA in 1963. It shows considerable play wear, but there is no structural damage. The blond finish shows wear and checking but is original. The pickups are original, patent number stickers, same as PAFs. The bridge is not original, and it is missing the pickguard. The tailpiece is original, but it had a bigsby and there is a shadow left after the bigsby was removed. The guitar has also been refretted. The other parts are original. This guitar also has an interesting anomaly - the serial# printed on the label is digits away from that on the back of the headstock, one ends with a 3 the other a 5. As the neck and body are both original, and the neck has never been off the body, this is clearly just a factory error. The guitar has been pro-setup in our store and comes with the original case.
