D. Lakin Basses 1930 II 3-tone sunburst short scale bass. Rosewood, maple or ebony fingerboards available. This bass will be put together from some of the last remaining inventory that I have leftover from when D. Lakin was in full swing several years ago. Dan Lakin has retired but I will be continuing to make instruments for those that are interested. I worked with Dan for many years at Lakland and I was the builder for all D. Lakin Basses made in the US.  This bass has a shorter lead time of 2 months because the parts are on hand and ready to be fretted and assembled.
