Here is an absolutely gorgeous non-chambered Gibson Les Paul Classic Premium Plus Honeyburst AAA flametop from 1995. These 90’s classics were basically early reissues of the 1960 Burst. They are phenomenal guitars, and this particular Les Paul is a prime example of what have made them so sought-after in recent years. Unsurprisingly it was a Yamano order which made it to Japan. Read up on these Yamano’s if you don’t already know… Yamano had a lot of sway in what guitars they got to pick due to the volume they imported from the USA to Japan from the 90’s to the mid 2000’s (a period which also coincided with some of Gibson’s finest work). It is said they had the pick of the bunch when it came to choosing the guitars they took back with them. This is one such guitar. It has some superb uniform maple flame all over; it looks amazing from whatever angle it’s viewed from. It has a real custom shop R0 VOS feel to it. We've tried to catch the top on this as best we can because it is striking. The nitro finish has dulled beautifully. The binding has become a deep yellow and the metal hardware has taken on a lovely natural dull finish. Being a Classic it has a 60’s profile neck and weighs in at healthy non-chambered 4.2kg. Neck measurements are 1st width - 43mm, 1st depth 22.5mm, 12width - 52mm, 12th depth 23mm. It is all factory spec just as it came out of Nashville. The 469r/500t humbuckers sound great on this one. Heaps of life in the frets, the truss rod is fine and the neck is straight. No problems either structurally or electrically. Has a lovely dull naturally earned VOS finish all over. Some wear around the edges, and a little bumps and nicks on the top. All age appropriate wear for a mid 90’s Classic. Definitely not mint but nothing bad has ever happened to it and it’s well along the road to being a real vintage stunner, Gibson custom shop could use this guitar as an example how to perfectly age a Gibson Les Paul. Complete with original tan Gibson, pink-lined HSC with pink silk shroud which is in also in good condition with all latches & combi-lock working fine. A very special 1995 Les Paul classic from the great classic years.Buy with confidence, Gas Station Guitars is a limited UK company and we offer a no question 14-day refund policy on all our guitars.
