This is one of the rarest and most high end german vintage archtop from Herbert Wurlitzer.Very few of these are still in existence. This is a top of the line, all solid wood archtop, with very original F hole shape. Also includes the wonderful original case in great condition. I've purchase this guitar from "Le Shop de Lyon" in France. I reused their pictures since the condition hasn't changed. I only swaped the (non original) tune-o-matic for a wooden bridge thats looks and sounds better. The rest is all original. There is a hiden pickup in the fretboard for which I'll include a special adapter. The pickup is not powerfull and the output at the heel is not convinient but is is fun to try! I'll also include a vintage japanese dearmond style Argone monkey-on-a-stick pickup that sounds great and is more convinient to use ( one knob missing, value approx 200 euros itself)The sides are unglued from the binding at a few cm at the bottom of the guitar at the end block area which is very common on this type of guitars because there is a lot a pressure in this area. This is completely stable and has not moved since I owned it (and will not)A fine piece of german history, from one of the best guitar maker of that time, alongside Willy Wolfrum, Arthur Lang, Seifert... It is very nice to have the original label still in place!!
