This is a first generation Po' Boy, hand crafted in November, 2022. This was purchased back from the original owner, fully inspected and presented as you see.There are no blemishes visible, the action is as presented to the original owner.Included is all original paperwork and the gig bag that was available only in the first series.You will see a dark grain streak in the neck which is an anomaly in the woodgrain coloring, not a defect or glazing of the lacquer finish.I have replaced the strings for you as the new owner, it is presently tuned DGBE and can be tuned to standard Tenor tuning should you wish.These original Po' boys have a 1 1/8th nut as was the standard for early tenor guitars.The serial number identifies it as the 4th Natural Blonde crafted of 30.The 216 Po' Boy was replaced with the 216 Sister Etta which provided multiple colours and a wider neck. The 216 was retired in 2023 due to high cost of production. It was chosen to retire the model as a quality archtop rather than cheapen quality to continue selling.As this is a used instrument it is sold without warranty expressed or implied.
