【VINTAGE】Here is a 1978 Gibson Les Paul Custom / BLK! The body is 3-piece maple top/1-piece mahogany back, and the neck is 3-piece maple with ebony fingerboard.The body was a 3-ply mahogany body called “pancake” until `77, but it was changed back to 1-ply mahogany in the middle of `77 as in `60's. The body was made of 3-ply mahogany until `77. The guitar was designed for the rock'n'roller specs of the time, but I think it would not only work well in the modern rock scene, but would also stand out in the ensemble,I think it will be a head-turner in ensembles as well.I really think that instrument makers at that time were making not only instruments but also the music that would be produced after the instruments were made. The paint is peeling and there are some minor scratches, so it looks quite austere and aged.It has been carefully overhauled at our store, and as an instrument, it is still an active one.Please check it out if you are interested.
