Description

Good condition, 6/10, Made in USA, including newer TKL hardshell case and tags, 41.5 mm (1 5/8 inch) nut width, this guitar has really been played a lot as it shows plenty of playing wear as well as having some repairs (some drops of glue a visible through the f-holes), it also appears to have been oversprayed a long time ago (and then worn down again), one repaired back crack, minor binding repair on the treble side f-hole, repaired screw holes on the truss rod cover, perhaps a different pickup was used in the neck position at some point as the original neck pickup hookup wire has been cut and spliced back again, and it has a replaced pickup cover (chrome), older reflector cap knobs, repro pickguard, added strap button on the heel, the tune-o-matic bridge has been slightly shaved at the bottom to allow for a low action, no wear on recently dressed frets, plays great, it comes with the original warranty tag (filled in) and the original owner's personal warranty registration card in addition to a Gibson pickup overview

About Byrdland

The Gibson Byrdland is a high-end electric guitar model introduced by Gibson in 1955. It is known for its shorter scale length and its combination of a hollow body with humbucker pickups.
