For sale is a Vox Phantom VI, built in 66/67, most probably manufactured in the Italian Eko factory. Unlike most Italian models, this Phantom does not have a padded back, but other details refer to the Italian version. Serial number is 204966. The instrument has - due to age - a few scratches and dents (see photos) and the varnish has - typical for Vox Phantoms - cracks. In any case, this guitar sounds and plays fantastic! I've never had a more tuning-stable solidbody guitar, the string action is super elegant and low, the pickups sound great (one has been rewound), the vibrato arm is also super tuning-stable. Not much needs to be said about the design - it's an absolute classic. And that's how this Phantom feels too: Every detail is just right. Comes in the original Vox Phantom case
