The NF 53 is Paul Reed Smith's take on the classic telecaster, and this stunning example is finished in the striking Black Doghair finish and could be mistaken for new - zero wear/blemishes and the plastic still on the pickguard ready for removal. Features include a Swamp Ash body with a 22-fret, 25.5"-scale bolt-on Maple neck with a rounded-C carve, similar to a ’59 Les Paul as well as a 10" fretboard radius and a nut width of 1-41/64. It has vintage-style tuners, and a steel plate-style bridge with barrel saddles for that old-school sound and aesthetic. It has a special set of PRS Narrowfield DD ("Deep Dish") pickups which inject some modern warmth into the instrument, which are made with taller bobbins to fit more winds and extra metal pieces in between the magnets to yield a more focused, powerful tone. It has master volume and tone controls and a 3-way blade pickup for versatility. It comes complete with its original padded gig bag to keep it protected, plus its paperwork.
