Here is an absolute beast of a Classic! It's a beautiful looking 1990's Yamano honeyburst with a slightly thicker neck than we usually see on classics, it actually feels a lot like a Standard! It is a gorgeous non-chambered Gibson Les Paul Classic from 1994. These 90’s classics are phenomenal guitars, and this particular Les Paul is a prime example of what has made them so sought-after in recent years. It was brought over from Japan so is a true Yamano. It has the early classic ink stamped headstock and the top some beautiful maple grain all over; it looks amazing from whatever angle it’s viewed from. It has a real custom shop R0 VOS feel to it. We've tried to catch the top on this as best we can because it is striking. It weighs in at healthy non-chambered 4.4kg. It is all factory spec just as it came out of Nashville. The 469r/500t humbuckers sound great on this one. It has the correct gold embossed '1960' pickguard. Heaps of life in the frets, the truss rod is fine and the neck is straight. The neck as I mentioned above feels slightly fuller than we usually see on a Classic, sitting somewhere between a 1960 and 1959 carve. The depth at the 1st fret is 21mm and the 12th is 23mm. No problems either structurally or electrically. Some wear around the edges, and a few little bumps and nicks on the top. All age appropriate wear for a mid 90’s Classic. Nothing bad has ever happened to it and it’s well along the road to being a real vintage stunner. Complete with original Gibson tan, pink-lined hardcase which is in also in good condition with all latches & combi-lock working fine and Japanese Yamano booklet.
