It doesn't get much classier than a Black Beauty. This Gibson Les Paul Custom 'Black Beauty' is 100% original and at 4.4 kg a lightweight! After Gibson discontinued production of the regular Les Paul model at the end of 1960, the guitar was reintroduced in 1968. This time with a number of changes from the 1950s. Among other things, the Custom received a maple top (just like the Standard). This guitar is 100% original and untouched: it has the original T-Top pickups, ABR-1 bridge, spraque 'black beauty' caps, fretless wonder frets and original case. It sounds very good with lots of sustain. The pickups are well balanced and have not too high output (7,48K (N), 7,71K (B)). The low action makes this black beauty play great. It has a fine round C-neck with a slightly thinner profile. This guitar was sold by Guitarpoint in Frankfurt in early 2024. Documentation of this is present and comes with the guitar. Above the serial number, you'll find a "2," indicating it’s a ‘factory second.’ These were guitars with minor cosmetic imperfections. While such flaws are barely noticeable (if at all) on this guitar, there is a small lacquer scratch near the top of the neck.  Feel free to come and give it a thorough test.
